Color Sensational Vivids "Shocking Coral"

Color Sensational Vivids "Shocking Coral" swatch and review:

  •  Packaging & price: In terms of its packaging, i would rate it as 6.5 or max 7 because the packaging doesn't seem any wow to me. It's just a orange colored tint on transparent plastic cap, with a shinning, silver bottom. which i don't like much. Though it makes it fun to see, but not really my type thingy. It's very light I would say in case of weight, though it says- it contains 4.2g. As a whole, after opening the cap, it looks fine, but with the cap on, you can't tell what is the color, since all of them looks the same with orange shade of the cap.
The price is- 7.49$, I can say that- It's not overly priced, but not cheap either. I would prefer this to be ranged within 4$-5$. That would be more justified for me, in terms of its quality and packaging.

  •  Color

The color is undoubtedly very bright; you can say it's a spring color. But, seems way too confusing while  taking the pictures. It seems more of orange toned pink, due to more pick of saturation in the camera settings, but from in front, it is more of light pink(on magenta side). with a very slight hint of orange. This is not very warm or not very cool tone, still i would categorize it in warm category.

  •  After Application-  The pigmentation is quite good..very high in quality. I was amazed by its staying duration on my lips. It stays on the lips for almost through out the day, if not rubbed or not tried to wipe it out! It transfers a little in amount to glass or can if drank water or any other drinks. But doesn't fade out too much like MUA. I would say- this is more of a glossy type than totally matte. It seems matte after a certain period of time, but feels kinda amplified, yet not very creamy. The good part is- it doesn't leave your lips dry like matte ones.
  •  Swatches-

Indoor(sunlight)

Indoor(normal light)

Indoor(At Night)

  • My final Review- In terms of it's quality, i would give it 8.5 because, from Maybelline, i expected a little more! The color name- shocking coral would be justified if it was more on the verge of orange or coral; the way it seems as solid lipcolor! Though it's not high end but a little pricy, still you can try atleast one, if you like any shade! this was my pick, but, i would have loved it more, if it was more coral type and not light pink version! :)

Elf- Mineral Infused Face Primer

Elf- Mineral Infused Face Primer-

  • Packaging-

The packaging is good, but a little heavy, in terms of weight. It;s easy to use type container. For the whole look, i would rate this as- 4 out of 5.
  • After Applying- It feels a little waxy feeling when it's first pressed out of the container. But when you start applying it by blending with your hand, it glides smoothly and you feel a silky soft texture on your skin. It helps to make the base smoother, softer before applying foundation or pancake.
while blending-
blending a little more-
After blending-

It blends into the skin quite fast and the after applying effect is wow! you would love to touch your skin again and again. It feels like a silky layer on your skin, but you can't feel any greasiness or oiliness.. It's entirely invisible and smoothly blended feeling. I just loved to feel the twice-fold softness of my skin, after I applied this. When I was applying foundation, it just helped my skin to have a great texture for a perfect make up base! I would rate it 9.8 out of 10 in terms of its usage quality.
