C369S Salsa Lessons- Wet & Wild Megashild Lip color

C369S Salsa Lessons- Wet & Wild Megashild Lip color-
When I got it, it was in this condition, intact packaging with transparent seal, as you can see below-

Packaging- It comes in a half transparent and half black lipstick cover. Its packed with two transparent stickers and when you tear off the stickers, along with it you will find a long paper attached, where it's mentioned that- It's cruelty free; which means, these are not tested on animals! So, good for me as I support cruelty free goods! :) There's also a expiring date tagged sticker on it, showing a month of  2014! It's good to know when to toss it away and till how long I can use it!

the sticker that mentions about its being cruelty free-

Price wise, It's packaging is quite poor and I think it needs to be upgraded, the packaging makes it very fragile type and it can actually break to easily. After I opened it, I could easily notice this thing, that in one side- there's a prominent sign of sharp edge on the lipstick, ruining its intact look!

After opening-

It looks quite intense bloody red after opening the cap and in daylight, it shows pure orangy red, but color wise it's not much deep and not very intense. The fun bit about this color is - it looks vibrant as a solid lipcolor as well as on the lips also!

Like I said before- the packaging makes it fragile and easily breakable, here you can see the crack in the lipstick even when its intact and untouched. It was already like this, from the first condition, without opening or touching it. And, it was soo clear that, it's the packing systems' fault. The crack lies in the neck line of the lipstick, and in fixable as it will happen again, if i try to fix it! For me, it's quite cheap looking pack and also quality wise it's not good! Wet Wild could make it f.......a......r  better! In fat their Mega-last range is also better than this packaging!

With flash-

The color differs in flash, and it seems tomato red, which is not it's real color. That's why all the images i've used(rest) are all without flash.

Review -
Review on my lips-

Color- It's totally tangy red as color. As you can see- pigment wise, it's very mild, not so intense.. It's entirely glossy and while applying it glides a little too easily and can be a bit problematic to keep it within liplines. Since it has no smell, i like it. I like how it keeps the moisture locked on the lips!

In Daylight- in daylight, it looks quite light to me! I like it more in indoor showing a little darker shade.

Indoor-Close- Detailed look-

I like this darker looking version better, in indoor and it shows a little more intensity. Though it doesn't stay for long, and transfers to food or whatever gets in contact with your lips. It leaves a very dull stain on the lips after the lipstick is gone.  The stain simply doesn't look good and makes the lips dry and cracked look can be noticed. So, it's better to reapply it when it's gone or seems lighter.

Wet & Wild- In the Flesh- 912C & Wineroom 906D Swatch & Review

Wet & Wild- In the Flesh- 912C-

Packaging-

As you can see- In the backside of the lipstick, nothing else is mentioned, except the shade's serial number/code. Once you tear off the transparent cover on it, there's no way you can figure out which color is this. I would say- It's not that nicely packed, as the lipstick gets a little smudged on the cap while removing and opening!

After opening-

Without flash-
how it seemed without flash is- quite chocolaty in color and i thought it would be on a little dark shade.

After Application- Feels a little dry, has no smell. The color seems quite soothing and shows a softer
tawny muted rosy pink. I like how it glides smoothly and doesn't cake or feather. It stayed for 1 hour until I has any meal. After, I had a chicken pizza, it totally got faded away, as though I had put nothing on my lips.

Daylight-

Color- It's semi matte and it's not very dry. At a glance, even in its swatch it seems a little more dark, but frm closer look, it's not much dark, and you can see- a dark pink color, having a majenta undertone.

Elf- Brightening eye pot- Black.

Elf Brightening eye pot - Black review and swatch-

Elf black eye shadow- The real black!
I think, Black is sometimes the most necessary color in you make up bag! Yes, for eyeliner, kohl and smoky eyes, black is undoubtedly the first pick! I like full black eye, with no glitter or duskiness. Therefore, I tried many black eye shadows so far, but, not a single one could make me feel- "YES!!! This is perfect black!!" & in search of this real black, I ended up picking Elf's brightening eye pot- in Black color! :)
