Lime Crime True Love Set-

  •   Packaging & price- It was packed in a nice box that you can see- n here's the backside of the box! About price, since it's a replica, i got it for only 350bdt!

  • Color-
  1. "Cupid"- it's a slight cool under toned pink. A very soft, rosy pink that you feel like to wear when you don't wana look bold and flashy. It's the softest and lightest shade in the true love set. I often wear it when I'm wearing white or very light colored dresses and it simply goes well with pink clothes! It glides very smoothly and the creaminess is very moderate and dries off pretty fast than the "saint" or "True Love".

  • Swatch:

2. True Love- it's the main attraction of the full set. I love this shade the most! It's a coral pink with majenta-ish look and has got a slight hint of orangish undertone, as you can see in the pic.
It looks very vibrant and even from the Tube you can tell, how beautiful the color is! I Just love the warm gorgeous color of it. The texture is quite soft and velvety even as a replica. Dries off after a few minutes of applying and you only need one coat to get the actual color! ^_^ 10/10!!!

  • Saint- Saint is a cinnamon brown with slight muave undertone. I Love to wear it with black outfits and also a good to go with skin colored ones or brown shaded clothes! The color TOTALLY varies from one swatch to another. It Looks very light, warm and soft, tawny brown when applied as one coat. But, if you apply it for a few caots, you can see the deep chocolaty brown with more of cinnamon kind shade! I wasn't so hyped up about this color form this shade. But somehow ended up liking it more than cupid and it's my second favorite after True Love!

MUA Luxe Reckless:
  •  Color- From top of the tube, it seems like Deep, cool Red, like you can see in the image below-
  • But when you open the tube, you get to see the this is a medium red, with a blue undertone, (the color in this second lot of MUA Reckless differs a lot from the previous one, which was a very deep maroon, like- Cabernet(red wine) type color. And this time, the color is a lot lighter and not the deep, red wine kinda gorgeous shade anymore. Still it's a nice color, but not the exact desired shade.
  •  Color- Mainly it's a cool red, with a blue undertone, but the color in this second lot differs a lot from the previous one, which was a very deep maroon..Cabernet(red wine) type color. And this time, the color is a lot lighter and not the deep, red wine kinda gorgeous shade anymore. Still it's a nice color, but not the exact desired shade.
  • In my old blog post, about the previous lot, i had mentioned- "It's one of the precious colors of Red, that I own so far! The mesmerizing cool toned maroon with a velvety look made me bound to get this just the moment I saw this on the website" But, this time it is not the same for me! I'll try to search for the old lot if i can! Or i'll try to get the "Milani amore matte lip cream- Devotion" which kinda matches to the older version of MUA Reckless.

  • Look & Feel-  As usual it has a matte finish after applying for a while. But, this time, it didn't feel that drying like- powdery matte and kinda creamy feeling at first few minutes on my lips. I rather felt the replicas of Lime Crime were drier than this and felt powdery matte. The swatch faded really fast after rubbing, when applied as one coat swatch on my hand. But on lips, it stays for a pretty long time without flaking or caking! As a whole good product!
  • It transfers very less and only while having food (oily, to be more specific I had chow-min) & it seemed to fade a little, but other than that, with dry food like cookies and other things like drinking water, it's perfectly alright and for removing it, i had to apply the same technique like removing it with Vaseline or make up removing agent
  • Swatch: Here's the swatch of MUA Reckless with a comparison with my Rioza Red and you will see the slight difference of cool undertone & thinner texture with the Rioza Red beside this (which is more of warm red and thicker).

    •  Packaging- Unlike previous MUA Luxe Reckless, which used to come in this black and golden colored packet, this one comes in a simple plastic wrap, and the whole tube and cap also looks different. Though the basic tube is still that frosty but a little clear may be, which creates a velvet from outside. And the golden cap also makes it seem more gorgeous than previous packaging. The price remains same though!

  • My Rating- After using this batch of MUA Reckless, i am not overwhelmingly happy about it. My all over rating would be 7.5 out of 10 this time.

Color Sensational Vivids "Shocking Coral"

Color Sensational Vivids "Shocking Coral" swatch and review:

  •  Packaging & price: In terms of its packaging, i would rate it as 6.5 or max 7 because the packaging doesn't seem any wow to me. It's just a orange colored tint on transparent plastic cap, with a shinning, silver bottom. which i don't like much. Though it makes it fun to see, but not really my type thingy. It's very light I would say in case of weight, though it says- it contains 4.2g. As a whole, after opening the cap, it looks fine, but with the cap on, you can't tell what is the color, since all of them looks the same with orange shade of the cap.
The price is- 7.49$, I can say that- It's not overly priced, but not cheap either. I would prefer this to be ranged within 4$-5$. That would be more justified for me, in terms of its quality and packaging.

  •  Color

The color is undoubtedly very bright; you can say it's a spring color. But, seems way too confusing while  taking the pictures. It seems more of orange toned pink, due to more pick of saturation in the camera settings, but from in front, it is more of light pink(on magenta side). with a very slight hint of orange. This is not very warm or not very cool tone, still i would categorize it in warm category.

  •  After Application-  The pigmentation is quite good..very high in quality. I was amazed by its staying duration on my lips. It stays on the lips for almost through out the day, if not rubbed or not tried to wipe it out! It transfers a little in amount to glass or can if drank water or any other drinks. But doesn't fade out too much like MUA. I would say- this is more of a glossy type than totally matte. It seems matte after a certain period of time, but feels kinda amplified, yet not very creamy. The good part is- it doesn't leave your lips dry like matte ones.
  •  Swatches-

Indoor(sunlight)

Indoor(normal light)

Indoor(At Night)

  • My final Review- In terms of it's quality, i would give it 8.5 because, from Maybelline, i expected a little more! The color name- shocking coral would be justified if it was more on the verge of orange or coral; the way it seems as solid lipcolor! Though it's not high end but a little pricy, still you can try atleast one, if you like any shade! this was my pick, but, i would have loved it more, if it was more coral type and not light pink version! :)

Elf- Mineral Infused Face Primer

Elf- Mineral Infused Face Primer-

  • Packaging-

The packaging is good, but a little heavy, in terms of weight. It;s easy to use type container. For the whole look, i would rate this as- 4 out of 5.
  • After Applying- It feels a little waxy feeling when it's first pressed out of the container. But when you start applying it by blending with your hand, it glides smoothly and you feel a silky soft texture on your skin. It helps to make the base smoother, softer before applying foundation or pancake.
while blending-
blending a little more-
After blending-

It blends into the skin quite fast and the after applying effect is wow! you would love to touch your skin again and again. It feels like a silky layer on your skin, but you can't feel any greasiness or oiliness.. It's entirely invisible and smoothly blended feeling. I just loved to feel the twice-fold softness of my skin, after I applied this. When I was applying foundation, it just helped my skin to have a great texture for a perfect make up base! I would rate it 9.8 out of 10 in terms of its usage quality.

Revlon Moonlit Jewels 720 / Joyaux Lumineux illuminance Cream Shadow

Revlon illuminance Cream Shadow- Moonlit Jewels 720-
  • packaging-

  • Colors-

  •  Closer Look-

  • swatch-
without flash

  • Quality- Very creamy consistency, glides easily. But, if tried on other powdery base, it cakes and doesn't glide smoothly. This is kinda losng lasting, can wear upto 6-7 hours. It does get smudges easily due to it's creaminess and the colors doesn't seem that very pigmented if not applied several strokes. The colors are nice.. blue one is kinda smokey blue..with greyish undertone. Green is not much green, and rather it's more of paste type moss green. and brown one is burnt sienna color, and it is kinda copper type with flash. And golden one is most perfect when swatched on hands or applied on eyelid. I like the golden one the most. All of them are very shimmery and gives glittery eye lids! So, it's kinda my type item.. and I like it for my party look and night make up!
